Overcomplicated grammar forms

One common thing you’ll notice that you get overcomplicated frammar forms when they want to say something simple.

I just got the following answer to a simple request “Please send me the link to X”:

This is to keep you informed that the latest version of X is available in the Share point portal under the location

Indian logic

Life story No Comments »

A search form within an application searches for a data file in wrong location. Instead of folder A, it searches in folder B.

What do you do to fix it? Change the search form?

No.

By Indian logic, you move the file to folder B. If your data cannot be found by crappy search tool, change the data, not the tool :) And don’t even care that the next application release will again install this file into folder A.
